Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2024

At TabDock, your privacy is our top priority. We believe that browser extensions should be transparent about data handling. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to your privacy and how we operate.

No Data Collection

TabDock does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. We have designed our extension with your privacy as the foundation. We do not:

  • Track your browsing history or web activity
  • Collect location data or device information
  • Gather any form of personal information
  • Use analytics, tracking scripts, or third-party services
  • Build user profiles or behavioral data

Local Storage Only

All tab sessions and user preferences are stored locally in your browser using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This means:

  • All data stays on your device only
  • No data is sent to external servers or cloud services
  • No data synchronization across devices
  • You maintain complete control of your session data

Your Data, Your Control

You have complete ownership and control over all data within TabDock. You can delete your data at any time by:

  • Deleting individual sessions within the extension
  • Clearing all session data from settings
  • Uninstalling the extension completely

When you uninstall TabDock, all associated data is permanently removed from your browser.

No Third-Party Integrations

TabDock does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or data sharing partners. Your tab sessions are yours alone. We do not use:

  • Google Analytics or similar tracking tools
  • Advertising networks or tracking pixels
  • Data brokers or marketing platforms
  • Any external APIs that process your data

Security Considerations

Since all data is stored locally on your device, the security of your TabDock sessions depends on your browser's local storage security measures. We recommend:

  • Keeping your browser and extensions updated
  • Using strong device-level security practices
  • Protecting access to your device and browser

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify users of any material changes through the extension or this page. Your continued use of TabDock constitutes your acceptance of any updates.
